Default Ontario emissions

I'm thinking about purchasing some HFC (probably Berk). On their site, they state a 49 state compliance but does not mention Canada. How do the standards for the American emissions test compare with the Canadian?

Should I remove the HFC before the emission test to be extra safe or will I be ok?

BTW. I will be keeping the stock catback on if that makes a difference

Thanks,
Steve

you'll *probably* be cutting it close. It may say 49 state compliant but if your engine is cold or something, that may make it 'blow over' I'd keep em on and then take em off after the test.

Berk...especially if you have the NISMO exhaust.

Mine and Reality's pair didn't last very long...

Anyone else with any suggestions/comments?

It really defeats the purpose of buying HFC instead of test pipes if I still I need to remove them to be extra safe before the emissions test.

only reason i would get hfc is for emission and save the headache of swaping them over during a e-test. if i'm not then ill just use oem cats for emission and test pipes when i pass

especially 350z has the hardest to reach studs for the cat/test pipes. Otherwise I would have diy'ed.
