Default Driver Side window glass get F***ed in the IKEA Parking Lot.

i am so sad rite now....my car is almost brand new...08 350Z Grand touring.
there are glasses everywhere in my car. steering wheel got scratched..don't even know how to clean them up...and they are glasses inside the door as well.....i had to drive home from IKEA without window on 407 ETR,nosie was killing me on hwy... and with glasses under my ***......

driver side window got broken by someone in IKEA Parking lot.

i called the police, they said if i want, i can report the case online...

does that really help?

Anyone know how much will the side window cost me?

i also called the insurance company...they said they are gonna give me a call back some time later...

so what do i do now?? repair the glass first? or wait til the insurance company get back to me?

Why are there glasses under your *** or did you find out who left all the glasses there? I would ask around and see if anyone lost any glasses in the store.

Cops wont do a thing...trust me. I had my window broken, made a report and nothing...just replace it, mine was about 250. They cleaned all the glass including the broken glasses that were inside of my door, floor, and seats.

Stop at a do it yourself carwash and use a vacuum cleaner if you must. I would not want to sit on a seat and pick glass outta my as$.

Check with your Insurance company to see what your deductible is for replacing the window then go to a glass shop and get a price then you can figure which is the cheapest way to go

Default it has happened to me twice where the glass just broke....

in my honda the passenger window just blew while I was driving and my driver side window in my camaro blew out at work..... something to do with temperature and imperfections in the glass..... besides, it should be covered under comprehensive glass coverage...

Go to a Apple Glass Shop , most of the Dealers send that type of work out to Apple or Standard Glass Shops any way.It is just like replacing a windshield no problems

That sucks. If it were me I'd replace the glass with lexan glass to shave off some weight. For $500 though go through insurance, you can get it done at a dealership (done by Nissan) and have the work warrantied.

Yep..cops will NOT do a SINGLE thing, my car was broken into few years ago. I had a camera in the back seat, and DVD head unit, but the only thing those ****** stole was the Kit kat chocolate bar in my glove box. I filed a report and however cops are too busy to takecare of my case.
