This exhaust ordeal never ends for me, i was calling turboxs.com with my credit card to place an order on one of the exhausts then they tell me they are not in production anymore, Great. Been looking for another exhaust to fill my gap in life..

Topspeed Pro-1 or Invidia N1, I recall someone buying one from another member, was wondering if the person with this exhaust could rev the engine for me before i go ahead and buy this exhaust? my only concern is the interior noise, i hear its unbearable and rattles everything.

used to have Invidia N1 and its sound really good start up and revving for fun... but not so much for cruising on highway from 2600 - 3000 RPM, the drone is really bad and it stuck in your head. I was unable to have a regular conversation with the passenger most of the time due to the exhaust... soon sold it for the popular X02 and was happy ever since.

 

hey bro, aren't there still vendors selling the turboxs for like 500 USD? I'd check. THere are also some used ones floating around. The topspeed is ridiculous, don't think you'd want to be pulled over.

No vendors with turboxs. All other online stores are selling though turboxs.com at 1000 a peice like morons, i tell them what the hell is wrong with you, i can go to turboxs.com and order one at half the price, then i say wanna price match and they say no we cant price match the producer. im like lol k bye.

If anyone sees a turboxs for sale anywhere for 500, let me know il grab it in a second.

And regarding the pro1/n1, read too many reviews that its too loud, i guess thats out of the picture. I dont know what else to get that will get me a louder then nismo sound. hks/x02 dont like them, way too loud and in my opinion kill the vq sound output...

any suggestions?

It was me that bought the Topspeed exhaust in the spring.

Yes it is friggin' loud, so loud I almost took it off but then warmed up to it because it has such an exotic sound. I wouldn't dare put test pipes on it, I had a set sitting in my closet and ended up selling them. The interior noise is very load, I think it actually gets louder when you put the windows up lol.

I get compliments on it all the time though for the sound, I get it from guys at autox, at the track and even had a guy that looked to be in his 60's honk at me in traffic to get my attention and tell me how perfect it sounded hah.

If you are ever in the Barrie area I would be more then happy to take you for a spin, I'm also at Mosport on Sunday for lapping if you know anyone that is going...
