Default RSR or topspeed

i'm looking at the RS-R exhaust and the topspeed pro-1 exhaust for my ride however the topspeed is 3in and the RSR is 2.5 (is this correct?) i am not planning on going turbo in the future(but maybe supercharged) so im not looking for a 3in exhaust however the topspeed is cheaper and i want to know if there will be a disadvantage to a 3in exhaust as opposed to the 2.5 if i stick with nonturbo

basically i want the cheaper topspeed exhaust but i dont want to go that direction if id be better off with the RSR performace wise down the road

If you have any intention of going FI (turbo or sc), go with the topspeed.

It doesnt really matter. You wont feel a difference between the two. I for one like the 3 inch tips. Gives it a very agressive look. IM gettin the topspeed exhuast soon. ITs quite a bit cheaper than the the other. Plus it sounds sick.

I personally love my RSR, the sound is amazing, gains you wont be able to feel any gains with either exhaust na. if you go FI the get 3 in but if you decide to go with a dual setup et 2.5in

why would i need a 3 in exhaust if i had a supercharger? I thought id only need that if i had turbos

both of these exhausts sound the same as well correct?

I don't know why you would want either exhaust if you were NA. You should be shopping for a true dual exhaust like the Injen SES. Single exhausts are for turbos while true duals are for NA or supercharged.

The full 3in exhaust would be plenty for a supercharger. More air in, more air out, basically. If you have a wide open exhaust you would pick up more on the top end but might notice a very slight loss on the bottom.

The Injen SES is crap if you want to ever go FI. The piping on it is puny. I wouldn't buy it if I were NA for that matter...

would the RSR be sufficient for all FI applications?

The perfect setup for a turbo application is no exhaust at all. So the least restrictive exhaust you bolt on the better it will be. 2.5" for Turbo? Not on my car.

Why would you go 2.5" when you can get an almost identical exhaust with 3" piping for almost half the cost?

4" is a bit overkill. You better have something to show if you have a 4" pipe.

I went with the Top Speed cause I got a deal on it for 475 shipped, screw the label tag on the RSR. I was going to go FI with my car so the 3" piping was ideal too, well that until the accident so no more Z for me -_-

I've been looking for the TopSpeed Exhaust system. I've heard sound clips but I haven't found a place that sells them. Anyone know of anyplace to buy this system?
