Default Restoring Performance in my Z

Hey Guys,

So I've had my 2003 350z for a few years and I kind of feel that it doesn't feel as powerful as it once did. Especially when I rev it out, where it used to pull hard to redline, it seems to not do that anymore or at least not in the way I remember - I could be concocting this, but I doubt it.

So what can I do to restore (or guarantee that I'm not loosing) performance in a 8 year old car.

Here's what I can think of:
  • Change all sparkplugs
  • Change the air filter
  • Pop off the cold air intake piping and clean it out
  • Clean out the throttle body
  • Do a round of injector cleaner
  • Oil and tranny fluid change to round things out (Mobil1)
  • After all this, reset the ECU
What do you think? What big and obvious thing am I missing?

Thanks for looking,

your car should technically make MORE power than brand new if taken care of properly and it doesn't have high mileage. I know that Porsche engines start making peak power around 100k mark!

My clutch pedal is SUPER stiff I've also noticed.

Does that mean it needs replacing? Still grips hard, doesnt slip -
