you can easily turn a 240 drift car into a grip car by simply changing tires, suspension and diff set up.

And your right about if its a track car you don't car how it looks but you should car about how the car was built and what parts were used. A big issue of buying a tracked car is if the person new how to maintain/drive his car and wasn't learning on it.

you can get much cheaper s13s for the price. I bet the only thing that you like about it is the roll cage. if you want to go a 240sx route i always suggest going s14 as i've owned a s13 before and went through 5 s14s already and put quite a lot of $$ on my last s14 build.

one thing i realized was having a track car for a dd was it wasnt the brightest idea. if your looking for best bang for the buck to track i would go w/ a s14 as i'm bias and not a fan of the s13 (heavy after market support) or if you have the coins get a 350z (cost a lot to push more hp)

I have a s14 for sale if interested. it was definitely a fun car

another thing is I dont know anything about them other than what other peoples told me ,,, its a good car ,, its not .... opinion are far to be the same.
Since I grew up in the 90's scene, driving a 300zxtt.. I can tell you that I was a huge fan of the FD Rx7.. But it would be a hard sell, regardless of the parts that come with it.
The 13b is an engineering marvel, but the rotaries did not have enough time to develop properly.. That said, do you really want to add oil every time you fill up?
And if you go boost happy, expect to be buying apex seals in bulk -3" or not, they still go on a regular.
