I am considering the 3Gs as an upgrade since its soo much faster than the 3G. Tried it at the apple store the other day and everything just loaded faster. 59 bucks a month isnt too bad either...

Good price on plan, but yes, welcome to july 2009 is pretty much spot on lol... I've had mine since June 2008 and recently upgraded to the 3GS... good upgrade indeed, but for all of you considering.. don't.

The mobile monopology rogers/bell has in this country will be shattered within a year and you'll all be stuck paying ludicrous amounts vs what's coming.

is 200 anytime minutes really enough? I used some of my rollover minutes last month and I have 900 minutes. I guess my nighttime also starts later than yours but I would be. Also 1gb of data seems a bit on the low side.

What are your over charges. Such as minute costs and data cost.

^^ Yep, I've got 350 minutes and I've never gone over... because almost everyone I know is covered in my unlimited network calling (fido, rogers wireless, and rogers home)...

And I've got the 6gb data plan and I've *never* used over 1gig... but then again, I don't steam youtube videos like a teenager for mindless entertainment. Everyone I know that uses youtube frequently is pushing 1+ gig a month.

You shouldn't need more than 500mb for browsing/email and almost *everything*... itunes bans you from downloads which exceed over 10mb unless you're connected to wifi so there's no chance you can waste it on downloads... and when you consider the fact that you'll be tapping into to countless wifi networks unless you're pretty much on the road...

1 gig should do just about anyone fine imo, i bought too much data. and I'm on my phone constantly for my business.

200 day time mins is not much but I have unlimited incoming calls, so they only count on outgoing calls. After 5pm and on weekends I have unlimited so they would only count on outgoing calls between 9am and 5pm. I work during the day I very rarely use it while at work so in the past 2 years I have not gone over the 200 mins.

During this past summer my average usage was around 2000 mins per month, I didn’t go over the 200 daytime mins during that time so I should be good.

Yeah, your plan sucks, but if you signed you can bet your *** they're not doing anything for you aside from adding pay features unless you've got your other services with them and decide to threaten to yank the entire package.
