Default Ticket

Since everything is closed on the weekend, need some input on the latest ticket i scored.

Ticket is for 30$ parking on private property w/out authorization or something along those lines (first option on the ticket). This happend yesterday on the malls parking lot at 7:40 am. I was parked there since 7:00-7:10am The signs on the parking lot state that it is allowed to park there from 7am-12+pm as long as im on premises, have a picture to prove it of the sign. Now i cannot really prove that i was on the premises but i guess it may be applied that i was since i was parked there?

Should i sue it off and stick it up to the man? or just pay it? Money is not an issue, just wondering if its worth it to prove pigs they are not always right.

And if anyone knows, how much is the court fee if i loose? lol

Choose you battles, this doesn't seem like it would be one I'd bother with.

Some things just aren't even worth having to think about twice.

the truth is, if you put in to fight a $30 dollar ticket, they rarely book you for a court date. They issue too many higher dollar tickets to bother much with $30 tickets.

i had a similar situation, went to book a court date at the north york location. i kept questioning the woman behind the counter and pushing until she dropped the ticket right then and there. take the picture with you, don't ever let them win !

A parking ticket has no affect on insurance or driving record. Once the $30 is paid for, that's it. It will be your first questionable parking ticket, and definitely not the last. Don't even waste your time stressing over this.
