Default Has anyone tried these BRAKE PADS before? Pls. give me some feedback

I purchased these brake pads from a member here in our forum. I've checked online and I couldn't find any information on it. The seller said he purchased it as a group buy here at our forum. Just want to know if anyone has them on their ride and if there's any feedback they have about them. Good or Bad atleast it's good to know before I put them on.

Thanks everyone...

Never heard of them. Organic pads create a lot of brake dust by the way. Let us know how it goes!

I agree Z-Tuned, I did as much research as I could unfortunately there was not that much info available for this brand, all I know they were imported from Japan. The brand might not be as popular here. They were a good price and I am very curious to see how they compare to the OEMs. I just want to remove the squeaking noise when I hit the brake. These pads are suppose to be quieter. ill try them out. I can always change it if they suck.

Being that its Organic, It might wear faster than the traditional asbestos but its made of natural materials which in some cases could be quieter and less polluted. I'm not planning to race everyone I see. I just want to enjoy the drive in great weather. Looking forward to summer!!

Question

Never seen these before. If you're looking for performance pads try hawk hp+. That's what I use and have no complaints (save for the squeek before they heat up).

My question us what's wrong with the OEM pads if your not autocrossing or going to track days? That work well, not much dust, last a while and don't have much sound.

Good point brady... Let just say i'm the experimental type. You will never know unless you try. I never tried organic brake pads before and I don't think many have tried it on their Zs. I will give my feedback after a couple of weeks of trying them out. Eventually in the near future i'm switching to Brembos but im not at that point to really use high performance systems with just slight modifications. Everything is a gradual process and most of the time we learn along the way.

hahaha... I get it. It was an impulse by now I feel like it was a huge mistake lol! I have a couple days to think about if I should put it on or sell it. Ill make my decision before next Saturday. But before then keep sending your post people, I just want to hear your feedback on these pads or any pads you have encountered before. It can be good or bad experience. Everyone needs to know so they wont make the same mistake as me:-(

Since you have no clue about them, how is that going to make someone confident enough to buy it from you?

Try it out and see how it goes, if its worst then swap them out...

Hey guys, from an earlier post he announced that his wife named his car suzzette. So he's just made a parts buying decision that may or may not work. Pretty sure everyone's done that at one point or another. Good luck.

Thanks nissannx and maroli...
The reason why im not so confident in using them is because organic brake pads aren't the best choice for high performance cars that may need to stop quickly from top speed. Someone who owns a small car that don't typically do a lot of aggressive driving are best suited for these type of brakes. Brake pads organic or not have one purpose and that's to stop, the rest is your preference. Selling something that suits the buyer's needs is not about my confidence level but the person who thinks this product is right for them.

hahaha... both of you guys are jokes!(BluRed&maroli) Hopefully we see each other in the upcoming meets. I've made my decision after all this mess I caused in the forum that I'm not putting these pads on my 350. I figured do it the right way or don't do it all. I'll take brady's advice and either go OEM or Hawk hp+. I'll settle my losses. Thanks for everyone's input and enjoy your rides this summer!!!

Just to let you know the dust from the Hawk hp+ is formidable, a constant battle to keep the rims clean and the do like to squeak.

There are less aggressive hawk pads that you might consider, but for high speed stopping, unless you upgrade to a big brake kit, you'll be hard pressed to find grippier pads.

Good luck and keep us posted.

Brady thanks for the heads up. I would have to inquire about it a little more before I decide which application will best suit my driving needs. I will definitely keep everyone posted once I make my decision.
