I really wouldn't care if it was just cleaning the egg, but obviously there a nice little circle of damage on my CF....
I swear if I find these little fu.cks I'm gonna beat the sh.it out of them.
On that note anyone know a good place to get my hood clear coated?

+1 for garages! It sure would be nice to lay a good beating on them and make them eat a carton or two of raw eggs (shells and all) as punishment. Stupid kids think it's all fun and games to egg people's cars but have no idea how much damage it can cause. Too bad you didn't catch the little @ssh0les responsible, I wonder if the cops could make them pay for any damages if you knew who it was?

Lol @ people telling the OP how they would beat the kids. If you beat the kids, then you have an egged car and you will be going to jail. Best thing to do is let the cops know who you think did it or just have them do the investigating. Once they find someone and charge them, then you'll get your money for any damages.

Yes, I would file a police report for any damage to my $700+ carbon fiber hood that was done by someone else. Doesn't matter if someone hit it with a baseball bat or threw an egg at it. Damage is damage and it costs money to fix. You obviously have no idea what eggs can do to a cars paint. The egg white can dry and then stick to the surface of if it's not removed immediately. The chemical composition of the egg yolk will eat through clear coat on the surface in addition to staining the paint. Whoever did it would more than likely get charged with destruction of property or vandalism.

And perhaps you missed the part about HIS car getting egged as well.. So I would imagine he is not OBLIVIOUS to the damage it may cause..
Oh and before you ask me.. YES I KNOW WHAT CAN HAPPEN, as it happened to my z...
-When was your z egged? or was it ever?....

Regardless of what he filed.. his insurance would be responsible for the damages. So, it would only achieve one thing, an increase to his premiums..
