Default Quick test fit - New wheels

Before the Herrafrush police try to detain me, I will be installing coilovers in the next few days..lol

Specs:

Work VS XX - Matte black centres w/ gloss black anodized lips

Front: 19 x 9.5 +15 ET w/ 245/35/19

Rear: 19 x 11 +10 ET w/ 275/35/19

Tires are Continental Extreme Contact DW.

Project Kics R40 lug nuts.

Would like to thank the following ppl:

- Michael @ REV Competition (Work Wheels Canada) great service and awesome guy!

- Billy & the Crew @ Tires 23 for the hook up on tires and lug nuts. Would never go anywhere else for tires!

I'm subscribing... I'm waiting for my 19x9.5/10.5 +15 and Calin give me the same tire size advice. I'm lowered on Eibach coilovers which dont go that low but have amazing ride characteristics.

I went with the DW's because this is my summer DD and I hear nothing but great reviews especially when it came to road noise, which had a big hand in my decision. I'll let you know how they feel once I drive on them for a bit.

Sweet man I appreciate it ... I just remembered I need tires for my RPF1's which are 18x9.5/10.5 +15 so I might do the DW's on those as well.

Hey nice wheels! Awsome size. Whats next after the coils?
What you think of the roof vinyl? I might get my car done. I like what you did with your bumper, I'm going to do that too.

Thanks Andy! Once I install the coilovers, that'll be it until spring time.. I'm thinking exhaust, maybe those SG longtube headers if they do them for the HR. Possibly 4.08 gears.. If I win the lotto I'll order a GTM Blower

I was thinking of getting my roof done with the dry carbon 3M stuff. I've been wanting to wrap some of the cheaper looking interior bits anyways...

You have the mighty HR... Unleash some of it's power!!! I/E/Tune!
I'm pretty sure Brady's car made 300whp with full exhaust, intakes, and a tune/osiris.

As for the roof, we should find out who did Dino's roof cuz thats where I got the idea.

Looks sick man, once you camber it up though I recommend a spacer.

What kind of camber do you plan to run? You had best be rolled!

Dino did his own roof he says. I know where we can get the material if you wanna tackle that project

Are you tuned on osiris? What can you tune with that software, just AFR? I want something that can play around with the cam angles..

Yes I am rolled but I don't on plan on running a spacer. It should be flush once I get my alignment, not looking to get to extreme with the stance, just clean and simple.

Ya my car was tuned with Osiris. I asked Sasha if he messed with the cam phasing and he said that he didn't. But you can if you want to squeeze that extra few pony's out there. It would take a little extra time then a standard tune I guess, and my car was already back on the ground when I asked so...
Call Sasha up and discuss it with him imo.

Just a small update, been driving on the tires for just under 200km and honestly very impressed. Just as I had hoped, the road noise is minimal. I'd say they might even be quieter than the OEM Bridgestones at some speeds.

On another note, I'm still not lowered yet, my buddies shop is a bit crowded so I'll just have to wait another day or 2. Sucks but I'll update with new pics once I have the coilovers on and I get an alignment.
