Anyone here know where I can get cheap winter tire and rim combo? does anyone here also know that if 16 inch steelies would fit a 2003 Performance? no brembo's of course.

Define cheap. There are people selling OEM 18" rims for around $450 w/o tires and you could probably find the 17"s for less.

 

i got mine for just under 1900 from greenlane.......they are prielli snowsport and some no name rims.....actually looks ok.....17's btw

and your question about 16s....i believe it is possible cuz that's what strife is going with.......pm him if u need more info

 

Yeah I saw tiggerpooh's winters - very nice! doesn't look like winters at all... nice gun-metal colour and polished finish

and yup i'm getting 16's... FRD racing 8's 16x7 with a 35mm offset with 215-60-16 toyo G02 plus winters all around (should be ok - has same rolling diameter as ppl going with 225/50/17)... i will post pics as soon as they're on! they're on route right now from western canada

 

Cheap meaning around 1500 with tires....
