I want to get my CF hood re clear coated so I was wondering if anyone knew a body shop that could do that and has full confidence in what they are doing.

Dont mean to highjack but i need someone that can also do some minor repair to CF hood then re-coat. Mine has a surface crack in the resin near at the front. I think it might have been from stress before I added the areocatch hood pins.

Dont want to pay an arm and leg either.

imo easiest fix is either buying a new cf hood and getting as much as possible of your current one, or depending on the hood, paiting the damaged section of the hood to the color of the body and leaving some areas exposed to cf, looks good if done right

I wouldnt mind painting my CF hood and leaving the vent area exposed, actually I think I would prefer this now. It's the Seibon VS.

Well still need to fix the crack but it would not be as critical in making sure the weave is not damaged. I was thinking I could try and sand it down myself I do have some CF resin and then send it out for paint or new clear but I could end up making a mess of it too.
