Default Brake pads

Did a bit of researching on brake pads on the forum and have a rough idea of which pads I will probably go with next.

I just wanted to see what you guys have used and comments/reviews on them, keeping in mind that the car is a daily driver that sees the occasional track day

Thanks!

I use nismo R-tune brake pads (for Brembo). Works great for street and track. Even works great in sub zero temperature during winter months. A lot less brake dusts than OEM brembo pads.

The only problem is that these nismo R-tune pads have been discontinued, so it will be difficult to find them new.

I used Hawk HP Plus pads. They worked extremely well, very nice initial bite. They also held up very well on track days. They generated some dust but nothing exteme and they did squeak a little when they were cold but the performance is worth the minor drawbacks. Note these are different than HPS pads that I have heard don't work nearly as well.

I never used them in extreme cold as the car was parked Nov-April every year. But in cooler weather there was no noticeable difference in performance.

I have used Carbotech's for quite a few years. Smasher has also.
