How is the XP8 on the street noise wise? Wouldn't mind getting in on this if I can find a good compromise for street/track.

 

These XP8's were pretty good at the track considering my ZR weighs in at ~3800 with me in it. They didnt stick to the rotors at all and no fade even though they got pretty hot. ( My break fluid gave out before the pads did).

As for Street they are a bit noisy but dust is really good considering, and easy to clean. My better half did not like the noise so much so I bought some 1521's. Very quite, no dust, but they really dont perform well on hard panic breaking for the weight of my Z so im back to the XP8's on the street and happy. If i need or want to stop fast no issues with the XP8s

I did not try out the XP10's yet ( I probably should have gone to the XP12's) for track but Im not so much interested in breaking records as just having a blast once in a while.

I run my XP10s all the time. 70% of the time you don't hear them, but occasionally I will pull up in traffic and get a 4 wheel squeal that is pretty awful.

And they bite just find when they are cold. Can't comment on dust, my wheels are matte black :P
