Default Tire Sizes: 19' 9.5 x 10.5

Hey guys .. I currently have my set up of 245's Front and 275's Rears on a 9.5 x 10.5 Volk's with a Tanabe drop. Dont have my fenders rolled.

I'm in the need of some new rubber and am thinking of getting away from the stretched look for this season (somewhat) and am trying to figure out the next best size set up.

Any recos?

255/35 and 285/35 seem like the obvious choice. What offsets are your wheels?

michelin tires generally run wider as well if you're looking for a more square look on the sidewall.

ya .. thats what i was thinking .. curious if 295s will be too wide. Im sure rolling will be a must if I went that big. My offsets are +17 / +24

275s on a 10.5 does have abit of stretch to it for us "normal" folk. 285/35/19 on your 10.5+24 should be fine, I don't think you'll rub even without a roll.

265 and 285 get my vote. The 255s on my 9.5s up front look a bit stretched. My fenders are rolled, but you should be fine with your +24 rears.

I have the same wheels with the exact same width and offset as you (9.5 +17 & 10.5 +24). This year I switched to 275/30 front, 305/30 rear. No rubbing and still within factory camber but my fenders are rolled.

np! did you try SimplyTire as well? I've been going with them for my last few tire purchases and their pricing was quite competitive. Free mounting and balancing is a nice feature.

thx guys .. i went to Tires23 .. awesome service. got the 255/285 set up. No rubbing even with the Z lowered . Love the beefy look .. still getting use to the amount of tire the Michelin PS2s give over my "semi stretch" lol that I use to roll. I will have my rears for sale soon: 275/35s for sale soon (bought them mid last season). My front where a tad low .. so I wont be sellin those.

no, for real 275/35 is a recommended tire for a 10.5 wide wheel. The same as a 245/35 is recommend for a 9.5"

i guess it depends on the tire. I know not all 275s have different sidewalls, making it look beefier. Toyo T1Rs and BFG KDW are two tires that look completely different when mounted on the same width wheel. the Toyos just don't look as square, making it look "stretched" for some people.

I get what you're saying though, it's not a stretch unless it wasn't recommended for the wheel width.

Yeaaaa buddy lol

275 Invos on my 10.5 are perfectly square with the wheel, but many tires out there have different lip protectors on them and they may appear stretched but in reality they aren't even starting to stretch.
