Cheap (inexpensive) shops in Toronto?
What are some of the most inexpensive shops you've been to in Toronto?
Give us an example of what work was done and for how much.
Also LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION.
I'm cheap (reads: poor) and looking for fair prices on labour. I usually source my own parts. Just recently I need to change my pads and refill my AC Freon, I found a shop in Mississauga that will do the rear pads for $80 for labour, and AC re-fill also for $80.
What are some shops you know of that are competitive in pricing?
Shop Name: Competitive Auto
Shop Location: 1170 Eglinton Ave East.

Call Edward at Automatrix... His prices are quite fair.

unfortunately I just moved out of a house into an apartment with no where to work on my car, but I love DIY stuff, it's my hobbie, which makes me sad even further...
lol
I've done this type of car work on a side street (cuz i'm ghetto like that) and at the track. Floor jack, stands and hand tools good to go.

... The actual cost of freon in our cars is like 12 bucks, $68 to hook it up and do pads while waiting seems steep
