Default "Notchy" shifting

Anyone experience a "notchy" feel when shifting? It only happens from 1st to 2nd, from there on its fine.

yep mine does that. Mine started out fine.....no notchiness......then about 2000 miles or so it started, the notchy from 1st to 2nd thing. Sometimes it doesnt and sometimes it does. There was a post tlaking about holding ur shifter like a joystick (just ur fingers on top) and it isnt notchy then, and ive found thats true (although i cant remember to do it, plus it seems gay). Leads me to believe its all in the shifter....hoping it will eventually wear in and quit.

Join the club. Now if you experience a grind with that notchiness, you've got a problem...
