Hi Blackie, Good to see you here too!Hey Darren... hope you guys can all show (it will be much bigger than the smaller meet last time)
Hi redfox,
The tentative details are Dave and Buster's Parking lot (east on Hwy 7 off the 400, south side) at 1:00pm Sunday July 25th.
It's cross club meet -- so even though it's hosted by the G35's... all are welcome!!
If anything changes it will be posted here and the other forums.
See ya there
Hi Marta,
Are you doing the AutoX on Saturday June 26th or will you be coming out to Shannonville with Sammy, Fluffydot and me?
We'll be leaving a bit later, say 3:30-ish, so maybe you could do both?
I don't know if you saw the post at G35Driver.com, but 1 passenger + driver is allowed on the track -- so Colin can egg you on to go faster
By the way, Darren if you (or anyone else) wants to go runs some laps at Shannonville Saturday night, I think it's filled up now but I can always ask if they'll take one or maybe two more cars...
the details are at G35Driver Canada Forums.
An S2K would be fun to have there, mixing it up with some STi's a few G's and a Z
ttyl,
Kyle

I wish I could do both, but it won't happen. I had a few clients scheduled for pm so I could do the autoX, I already re-scheduled them all for am so that I could do Shanonville. Colin could deal with them while I go autoX alone, but there's no way he will, and if I do the clients in the am, there's no way I'll make it in time for registration.... so...
I'm definetly in for Shanonville. Are we all meeting at AMC? I've never been to Shanonville so it would be nice to just tag along with some one who knows where they're going.
Oh, and let me know if you need the payment in advance?..
TTYL Kyle!

Great! Glad you're coming Blackie! I told them you're in for sure so you have a confirmed spot... just pay on Saturday.
Yes, meet Saturday June 26 at AMC Theater (Kennedy Commons) 3:00 to 3:15pm.
I'll post maps later at G35Driver.com Canada Forums of where to meet and maps to Shannonville in case people get separated...

Alright Blackie! I knew you couldn't resist. I'm still a little nervous about my 1st time at the track and all, but I think that I will have fun.
I had the shop swap my brake fluid for Dot5 and new Project-U brake pads.
I took them off as soon as I got home due to the loud squealing noise everytime that I came to a stop. I will change them back again on Friday and drive them to my interview on Saturday.
Hey metasystem, do you think that squealing brakes will take away from the beauty of the G in my interview, you know, since I'm represent'n and all?
Anyway, I can't wait till Saturday.

Hey Sammy,
You never know -- when they see your car with Twin Turbos and all the mods, they just might figure the squealing brakes were part of the plan -- so maybe it will catch on as the next big thing?
Anyway, make sure you let everyone know when the interview/ profile airs! I guess Sport Compact Television would run on Speed Channel?
Yeah, I'm really excited about taking the G to the track too, I've been before with one of my previous cars (a Stealth)... but first time for the G! It's natural to be a bit nervous first time on the track -- I am a tiny bit too -- I figure that's good, it'll keep me from driving the car past its limits.
Despite what you hear about turning off the VDC to get quicker lap times, I think with what you've invested in your car you should leave it on. Plus with all that horsepower and torque you could easily kick out the rear with some snap oversteer in a corner if you shut it off. Even seasoned veterans who track their G's a lot like Eagle1 use the VDC on unfamiliar tracks.
Anyway, can't wait!!
