Default Invidia G200 and aftermarket sways?

The Invidia G200 looks like a good exhaust and so far everyone has claimed that the fitment is excellent. I thought it was kinda weird how one pipe went under the stock rear sway bar and the other went over the top. Does anyone have both the G200 exhaust and aftermarket sway bars?

Thanks!

I don't know about aftermarket sway bars, but as far as stock sway bars, there is no problem. I don't know why it would be a problem through. The fitment is great. The guy who put my exhaust on usually does just domestic hot rod cars and said that this was the best exhaust as wise as fitment and quailty that he has ever seen. He said he wished they made exhausts like this for his mustang.

Do you have a auto tranny? How do you like your vortech unit? I want to go with a supercharger instead of twin turbo because I only desire around 500-600wrhp with a built motor of course. Can you feel the extra wrhp and tq? Also, have you ran it at the dragstrip yet. Thanks

I have a MT, but AT 3.36 rear end gears. I am making almost 200hp over a stock 350Z, so yes I can definitely feel the extra HP and TQ. I have taken it to the drag strip, but I still have stock tires. All I did was spin the wheels at the line and get some very dissapointing times.

I don't understand your statement of why you do not want to get a TT kit. As far as I know, there are no 350Z's with superchargers above 500rwhp. If you want 500-600rwhp, I would definitely get a TT kit.

I don't have aftermarket sways as well but can tell you there is plenty of clearance over and under the stock sway bar. Unrelated to the sway bar, it gets really tight in the areas shown in the attached pic, a matter of millimeters.

Thanks for the pic. Does it rattle on bumps or can you hear it rubbing at all while driving?

No rattling or rubbing from those areas at all. The whole assembly is very stiff. I tried shaking those two pipes pretty hard to see if they would ever touch and they don't. I'm confident they will never rub. I did get a rattle at low rpms but that was only because I forgot to tighten the nut that holds the rubber hangar on the driver's side pipe. I was anxious to complete to complete the install and start her up. All I hear now are the sweet notes of the exhaust.

How much louder than stock would you say it is?

Also, the reason I want to switch my exhaust is because my current one slipped off the rear hangers during a track event. So fitment is very important to me.

If stock is a 1, then I would say its a 4-5. At idle its the same. Check out the crappy sound clips I took to help you determine the sound:

As far as fitment, the exhaust utilizes all the factory hangers and locations. The only difference is that the hanger bars are not fatter at the tips like the stock ones, to keep them from slipping off the rubber hangers. They are bent though, which may keep them from slipping off, but not as secure as the stock ones IMO. See pic.

Thanks for the pics jester. Do you know what the diameter on the pipes are? They look like 2 inch pipes.

The exhaust is pretty quiet, but keep in mind I don't have any other mods right now. You won't be heard from a mile away, exactly what I wanted. Extra kick in the butt without the loud farts.

LouZer, I believe the pipe are 2.25". I'll double check later tonite.

I haven't dyno'ed the car, but Invidia says 10 whp and 8 ft/lp tq by itself. The car does pull a little harder. There are only two vendors that I know of on these boards that are official dealers of Invidia and that is Evolution and GSC. Right now Evolution is selling for $975 shipped, check the Vendor Classifieds. As for GSC, PM them for pricing.
