Default Neutralizing the understeer

I don't want to change the springs and shocks, so looking for other solutions.

Will adjustable sway bars and grippier tires help? I'm not that crazy about the pilot sports, they don't seem to do as well as the S03s have done on my previous car.

Adjustable sway bars will greatly reduce understeer. Putting the same size tires on the front and back will help as well. There is one problem with the tire switch, there are not any great tires that are the same diameter as ours that will fit our rims.

Thanks for the reply. I'm a bit confused by your tire comment, though. I have a 6MT G35, and I believe the rims are the same size, so I could just have the same size on the fronts as I do on the rears. I'm just waiting for these pilot sports to wear so I can change the tires, but they don't seem to wear. The S03s would last 10 months tops.

Here's an unconventional solution, but one that worked for me. I had the 3.9 final drive installed from 350EVO.com.

I put several track days on my car this summer before I had the FD put in. And the front of the car constantly pushed through the corners. Especially long sweepers. Tight corners were not as bad but the big sweepers were destroying my front tires very quickly. I had to replace my driver's side front tire after about 5 track days. At about $250 a pop I wasn't looking forward to more track days.

To make a long story short, I went to the track shortly after installing the FD and I was very happily surpised to find that I was able to throttle steer through the big sweepers in a very stable and neutral fashion. I went on to a total of 13 track days and my front tires still have 2-3 more track days in them.

My .02 cents.
