Question Understeer

Has anyone put same width tires front and rear to make the car's handling characteristics more neutral. For example, 245s front and rear. I have heard that the Z has pronounced understeer near the edge of its envelope. What have your experiences been as my Z has been in storage since early november? I am having serious withdrawl symptoms.

I aksed this question on 2 forums and never saw an answer. I don't know if anyone has tried this and then tested the limits. It would take a decent driver to really explore the difference this subtle change would make.

But if it DID work, it would be a sweet thing to know about before replacing the stock tires.
