Default What diff fluid after break in change?

From what I have read after my Nismo LSD is installed I need to perform a half hour of figure eights to break in the discs and then replace the fluid again right? What fluid should I flush in when done and also any links to it would be great. Thanks....

I just replaced my fluid with redline after about 3k miles on it. The nismo fluid that came with the diff actually looked pretty good when I drained it though.

half hour of figure eights is not enough to break in a clutch type diff.
as a minimum 1.5 hours better 2+.

I drove figure 8's for about 1 hr 45 min when I had a Nismo LSD into my S13.

Also be sure to drive them right away, dont drive any straight lines at all, immediatly after install.

Best to have aparking lot nearby right after intsall.

Fred..

diff lub should not be 75w 90...you're thinking trans lube...

for the diff you should use 80w 90 gl 5

i haven't changed mine out, but the service manual states for the diff it should be the one stated above...
