It seems like a lot of new products have been produced for the Z recently. Is there any kind of consensus on a flywheel/clutch setup for people pushing 287-400HP? It's kind of hard to tell from some of your posts who's F/I and who isn't? Will the JWT flywheel and clutch combo hold 400+hp?
RPS is advertising their segmented flywheel as being engineered to not warp like traditional aluminum flywheels. Have forum members experienced a lot of warped JWT flywheels?

Thanks,

Bruce

Default JWT Flywheel & Clutch

I experienced a warped JWT Flywheel using a SPEC Stage 3 Clutch. Since switching to the new JWT Clutch along with a new JWT Flywheel I have been completely satisfied. I run the car N/A and also a 200 shot with a 1.50 60 ft on the above combination. I highly recommend the above JWT combo!

Default JWT Setup

Paul @ Avalon Racing says they've used the JWT setup on lots of cars they've done without problems. If it can handle the kind of get-up-and-go you have with a 200 shot, I guess it should be able to handle a little old turbo'd motor.....

I just picked my car up today from Perf Nissan in Duarte. I had the JWT combo installed. The first thing I noticed is how much louder my car is at idle. Also, I barely lift my foot off the clutch and it is engaged (good thing). My biggest complaint that I'd like to find out from current owners of this system is, is it supposed to chatter when at idle? Mine chatters big time at idle (in neutral). HELP!
