when to change sparkplugs?

I have almost 34k on my car. When is good to change them on the Z?

Is it worth it to get Irridiums or just stick with stock platinum?

Platinum is good for around 100,000 miles I believe. If you aren't having any performance issues then I wouldn't replace them. You could pull them and check the condition though.
