Anyone ever change a radiator in "ANY CAR" before???

There is a tool that replaces the radiator cap. You pump it to put pressure into your cooling system. Then, you look for leaks. The good ones have a pressure guage that will show a pressure drop if there is a leak.

I'm not suggesting that you purchase it. A good shop will have one.

I did that to mine....no leaks at all..but I still smelled coolant until I changed the clamps and hose orientation

i havent had the chance to drive it much since my last post. but if it still presists, ill look into the new clamps. thanks.
