not really sure what a "sleeze" kit is, but a sleeVe kit is a cylinder sleeve that is machined into your block. it reinforces the block, making it strong, and able to handle much more power vs. stock (how much more of course depends on the type of motor, and condition). it makes the block more stout, but does nothing to increase horsepower. a machine shop, depending on how backed up they are, could usually install it in less than a couple of weeks (also depending on how fast they work ) hope that helps!

Not neccessarily true. Most sleeve kits come with bore size options. When you increase the bore you increase the displacement and increase horsepower. Of course increasing the bore means less cylinder wall strength. Here is the info from the site:

Darton Sleeves, Carlsbad, California -Darton announces the availability of its new Modular Integrated Deck (M.I.D) sleeve kit Nissan's VQ35DE blocks. This block adds to the already impressive line-up of kits like LS-1, Honda, Ford and Ecotec. This kit will allow you to go from a standard bore of 95mm to a max bore of 100mm handling high boost and high compression. The kit is perfect for all applications whether it be full race, turbo, N/A or for those weekend warriors with street/strip cars. This kits shares all the same patent pending designs in the M.I.D. line. George Iannou said it himself " I feel that the VQ35 Nissan engine will be the future of the import drag racing Pro-segment in 2005, its power potential is unmatched." Darton being the leaders in sleeve designs agrees that the VQ35 will play a huge part in racing in the year to come and with this new kit its power potential becomes even better.
