I would say they are all the same, just some kits are made specifically for the 350Z colors.

well in regard to the Ebay one you are talking about, that is a universal kit, meaning it does not fit to speciific parts of our engine bay or come with instructions, so i probably would not get that. I hear insaneanime's kit is well put together, as well is the one I am about to start marketing. Very similar to insaneanime's kit, except using a different type of wire.

Currently,, the best kits are HKS and Sun Auto... They make the wires the right way... Most of these other sets are just copper wire you use for a system...

Not all kits are the same, but most work just as well as the others. You don't need a vehicle specific kit, you can use a universal one, and it will work just fine. There are tons of ways to mount or install these, there is no real one correct way or not.
thicker wires are better, but smaller ones seem to work ok too on smaller engines or cars.

is the universal Nismo one I mentioned in my first post OK to use on USDM Z's? I read that since JDM has battery on opposite side it can cause headaches....or does it still work?

im gonna get the maxground next. i got a kit about a year ago in silver, and the wires have faded to a nasty yellow. doesnt make the engine bay look pretty. the max kit has thicker wires that wont fade, i think they guarentee it.

i had the hks on another car previous to my z....is the kit specific for the z? also, my only complaint with the hks kit was that the instructions were not that great but the quality was very good.
