Default anybody know what really changed on the '05 motors?

has anybody checked with a (tech saavy) parts counter to see if there's actually a different p/n for the rods, rod bolts, etc, etc.? I know Nissan made reference to "stronger parts" but i haven't seen anything concrete saying that X, Y and Z changed...

thanks,
Jeff

I was wondering if they used Nismo internals to get the engine spec to 300 HP.

none of those items count as "stronger" parts... besides, when AEBS and NISMO are claiming that the rod bolts will fail at 7200rpms, it would seem pretty crazy to set the factory redline to 7000... not much safety margin... seems like Nissan would have had to at least put in stronger rod bolts to accomodate this increase in rpm...

I have heard that they have upgraded to stronger rod bolts. Again i have just "heard". Right now I dont have any backing, but I will be looking.
