TCM Location on 350Z & G35 5AT?
I'm looking for the physical location of the TCM in the 350Z and G35. The factory service manuals for these two cars shows completely different information. The FSM for the 350Z shows the TCM as a part of the transmission assembly whereas the G35 shows the TCM as an external component. I have heard from some people that the TCM functions are integrated with the ECU itself.
Connectors F103 & F104 on the right (in the attached image) are what should connect to an external TCM.
Can anyone confirm the location and connectors of the stock TCM? See attached image.
Thanks

Hey Guys
the TCM is right inside the side plastic panel, to the right and below the ECU, up against the inside wall of the rear portion of the front right fender...
If you DON't have it there, then it IS built into the tranny. I know for a fact that that's the case with 04.5+ G35's, not sure about the 04's.

gurgenpb01,
To clarify:
You know for a fact that the 04.5+ G35 TCM location is in the right side plastic panel below the ECU?
OR

Most of the truck and international applications I have run into thus far have been in the passenger compartment somewhere. It is just the documentation for the 350z that raised my eyebrows a bit.
Thanks
