I have a Z with Crawford Cats and Nismo exhaust and my passenger side cat weld broke from the metal piece that connects the cat to the car. Called Doug and he told me that it has happened to several people with the combo. He is sending me a new cat and he said the welds have more welded tabs on it so it should be stronger.

I've never had any trouble with my cats. Nor have I had any trouble with any customer's crawfords.
I agree that if they are hung incorrectly, or if they are not torqued correctly, that can cause issues.

Sounds good. Would you say that the Nismo/Crawford combo is loud?

i'm perfectly fine with it for daily driving

some people won't be able to stand it as a daily driver, other's will want something even louder

I dont care if its alittle loud. I just dont want it to sound really annoying and have people point and laugh.
