Default 280whp...N/A

Today I finally Dynoed my '04 350z and man do I feel happy with the results!

The car pulled 280whp and 249 ft/tq... I made three pulls, two in 4th gear and one in 5th.
The a/f monitor wasn't working so no graph.

For those wondering about my mods...

JWT Cams
JWT Flywheel
JWT Filter
NISMO Headers
Greddy EVO Dual Exhaust
Unorthodox Crank pulley
Crawford V1 Plenum
NGK Iridium Plugs
Cat pipes
EVO Throttle Body
Grounding Kit

I need to get the Limited Spec setup from Technosquare, my car needs to rev a little more.
I have the SES light due to no cats, I HAVE to do something about this because every now and then, the car detonates. The ECU tries to heat up the cats by cutting back fuel. The 1st time I went to the dyno, the car pulled 15whp less because of a little detonation, today it didn't of course!

NOTE: I can't attach the graph due to server errors. If someone wants to host it let me know, anyway I'll try again later.

Sorry, no base line dyno, but I'm sure that my car was in the average baseline, 235-240 whp mark. This is the second Z I have owned the 1st was a '03.

What did it cost you for the cam install - or at least how many hours?

I think it should, but Its a little risky for me, I could find myself sending back and forth my ECU for fine tunning it, and I don't like that idea. Technos is too far from PR
But almost 290whp N/A would be REALLY NICE!!!

About the cost, it was a very good friend of mine so I won't tell you but expect about 12 hours from a good and experienced mechanic.

Did a Consult II check, it said it was an improper function of the cats or some bs like that. The missfire occurs every now and then, but in six or eight months maybe one or twice the missfire code light up the SES. I have acces to a consult II when ever I need it, very good friends at my Nissan dealer
I DO need to trick those nasty O2 Sensors...

Cool, the only reason I ask is we had test pipes for a while on dougs 04 car with his big nasty cams and it never had a problem.

Me too, on my local dynojet I pulled 212 whp in 4th I was like That turned into 262 whp in 5th on the next run. Yet at another dynojet my 4th gear #'s are only about 5-10 whp lower than my 5th.....I have no idea why, needless to say I always dyno in 5th now. BTW nice #'s....I dont understand how a Z with cams and headers produces such low TQ #'s I guess most of the power moves up-top huh. I woulda still expected at least 260-265 ft lbs with that much power. Anywas sorry for ranting, get somekind of a/f #'s on your car Id be curious to see how lean its running.
