Does the UR flywheel sound like stock or not?

I want to install a lighter flywheel but don't want to add any more cabin noise.

It's not really a cabin noise issue. If you have the windows up you can barely hear it at all. Even then, you can only hear it inside at very low rpms (like below 2k) where it is loudest. On the freeway and such there is no noise.

I think most people don't like the sound simply because of the way it sounds outside the car. They are just concerned about what other people will think of their car when the sound occurs. It's an image thing.

 

I got the UR flywheel w/ Nismo clutch installed and I am very satisfied w/ this combo. The rpms rise and fall pretty quickly, the clutch slips similar to stock, and I get no noise from the flywheel throughout the entire rpm band! Very sweeeet!

 

I'm waiting for the shop to have an opening to install mine. It should be within the next week.

I will definitely report back with changes.
