Does anybody know were this thing is located on the Z.I wana do the V/B upgrade.

i believe the thing is located right on the front of the engine, but i am not sure...

You have to remove the transmission pan to access it.

 

Ok this mod is not for the faint of heart. On the underside of the car you'll see the auto tranny. What you have to do is drop the trans pan after draining all the fluid, side note all the fuild does not drain so be careful. After you have the pan out of the way your gonna need to remove 12 bolts it is slightly different on the z than the g due to harness differences, not a big deal. but you have to have patience and a general sense of mechanical skills, jack jack stands 10mm socket and a rachet and a 19 mm wrench to remove the drain plug is all you need, i would invest in a bat powered impact gun to remove all those bolts or your forearms will get tired.
