what is the best street clutch for up to around 500 hp? i want somthing streetable and still very durable.

 

Exedy or JWT/Nismo. It will handle the power and still remain easy to drive daily.

 

NISMO Clutch wont hold 500...

JWT Clutch might beable to but doubt it...

 

i got a clutch and flywheel from ats. its a twin disc carbon capable if holding like 700 whp

 

tell us what u think about the ATS set up.
how is it driving around town.....does the lighter flywheel help the car rev faster??

 

im in the progress of building my moter . when its done im going to install the clutch. the flywheel should definetly make the car rev faster.

 

I have been running about 420 whp on my CM stage 3 for about 7000 miles and have about 25000 of N/A miles on it with about 35 passes at the drag strip on slicks... If you are planning on 500 whp, I would up it to the stage 4... This clutch is easier to operate than stock in my opinion...

 

the stage 4 is not driver freindly at all. i have driven a car w/ the CM Stage 4 and the engagement is very harsh.
