I think you would have less problems with a vk45 than an ls2, not too mention the restricted vk45 in the m and q have 340hp@6400 and 333tq...
Your looking at ~380hp dropped into a 350Z with NA boltons
Does anyone have any weight, height, specs on the vk45 compared to the vq35?

i really don't think that an SR20 swap in a Z33 would be all that hard...there would be some custom fab work but nothing really serious. motor mount locations would have to be changed a bit and maybe tranny mounts would need to be changed. a custom driveshaft with spline from SR20 in front and 350z LSD spline in back could be done for $400 (aluminum) cheaper for steel.
wiring wouldn't be that bad...all you need to do for the SR20 ecu and accessories is to get power to them and you'll probably need to rework the dash wiring.
i'm not saying i'm going to do that to my Z33...just trying to give some hope to the swap which i think wouldn't be that difficult. i've done an s15 into a 240sx and it wasn't bad at all and i'm far from a mechanical genious!!!

WHY would you want to put a SR20 into a Z33???
RB26s just need a single on them, bigger injs and thats it.. easy 600hp at the wheels (true 600hp not Dynojet or Mustang '600hp')No need for cams, internals or to even open the engine in any way.

How and when did you manage that. You got a shop to do it? If so where, and did they use a kit? Just currious because I have some friends in FL with Z's that would be interested in this.

And the figures I saw were about 520 for the VK45.
