You are probably right . Just don't want something minor in the future like "that fuel pump wasn't included in this kit" or "oh, you bought it in a group buy? I'm sorry you're warranty isn't valid (i.e. greddy)" or "we can't be responsible for what someone else said was going to be included that had no official affiliation with us". But I'm sure you're completely right, and if no one else cares about confirming the exact contents...then I will say no more, I promise.

It's fine.

Dave, care to chime in to ease some thoughts of members?

This paticular one, no. The version I want isn't out yet. I'm going to go with ATS twin-plate 1150kG version and carbon coating on the flywheel.

Yeah, it's been discussed before in other threads, but this is only to be a confirmation from Altered Atmosphere, and him alone. Sorry, I've been working in the legal field too long...
This is the catless system. Turbonetics has not released the cat or tuner versions.

How are you going to handle the list? Like burnt350z is on the GB in the FI section, he isn't here.

I'm still up in the air about it too, so don't include me right now. Wanted to check the contents of the kit. Dynamic6er Pm me the exact contents so I won't bother anyone on the thread. By the way, you listed my name twice...

Dave,

We are not going to make the number. How much are you selling the kit for outside the group buy? And can you list the total contents? I"m still not sure exactly what IS included with the kit. Thanks.

I like the single turbo setup, I would consider buying this. However, the ECU reflash and no cats thing seems dumb.

I have a question regarding the reflash: Is it going to be any different if I have any other mods (ie Plenum spacer or headers?) or will that not matter?
Also, with no cats, should there be any CELs in an 03?
I will go search thru MIAPLAYA's long thread again to see if I can answer my own questions.

Anyway, add me to the list for the GB

I'd like to know the answer to the first question too, just for reference sake.

I'd still like a price that I can buy it for outside the group buy. Thanks.

No they wont throw a CEL. As for tuning for different parts. The last I saw if you put down what other mods you have they can flash for them. Although the ECU should adjust just as your stock one would...

Note: Because this is a general rule of thumb type thing it is always recommended that you do a baseline dyno to ensure safe operation.

Certian mods will make a difference, others will not. A turbo is not like a supercharger when it comes to changing things like headers or test pipes. Changes on the intake side will create slight changes in the A/F ratio, but they will need to be pretty extreme to cause a significant change in A/F. (ie- port and polish, larger valves, cams, etc.) Changes on the exhaust side will make the motor slightly more efficient (headers), but this will show mostly in the spool characteristics of the turbo. The mass air meter is also able to account for slight changes in air volume due to additional modifications. Again, to be 100% positive that your motor is operating in a safe A/F range you must log your A/F ratios under load at wide open throttle with a wideband on a dyno or on the street.

There should not be any CEL lights due to O2 sensors or otherwise, but again, this is not a stock vehicle once the kit is added. This means that it WILL be higher maintaince, may occasionally hiccup, and may set off a CEL. This can be caused by emmission systems malfunctions, misfires, etc. etc. 9 times out of ten if the kit is installed properly, the car is cared for religiously, and not beat on 100% of the time then the reliability should be very good and potential for problems should be minimal.

Sorry for the late reply. Hope that helps!

One thing should be noted. The majority of vendors offering this price are not Authorized Turbonetics Dealers. I hate to be a stickler on this point, but personally the 12 Month/12,000 Mile Warranty is what makes this kit. (and the engine management )
