Hate to point this out, but thrifiddytt said he wasn't in on this kit a while back.

He said he was up in the air about it and to not include him until he got the exact contents from dynamic6er, so I guess he's still in...

I know more people out there want to do this. It's tax return time. Let Uncle Sam buy your turbo.

The way I see it, this basically covers the cost of my guages.

If I can sell my rims before the group buy ends, I'm in as well. What is this news I hear about turbonetics releasing a kit with a bigger turbo and injectors though?

They can send you a kit with a bigger turbo or injectors if you want. I'm not sure if this can be done via a group buy but I know Turbonetics has stated they could easily replace the 60-1 that comes with the kit with a 62-1 or T66 if you would like it done..They would of course need to know what kind of power goal you have to customize the kit. It would be a one off thing but they are MORE then happy to do so.

Hey guys, this is my first time viewing this thread, boy was I surprised that I am in the group buy! I don't know how that happened, could someone take me off of the list. Sorry guys, I would gladly buy the kit, but my current funds are too low.

Looks like this groupbuy isn't going to hit its target number.

Dave,
What price can you give us with the amount of people we have now?

I am considering this kit as well as the APS. The price seems good, but I wish you would just take a credit card number and not have to pay another 100 bucks to use paypal.

My question: Does the Turbonetics piping have a bung already welded to on to add in an A/F Ratio meter?

It has the bungs for the factory O2 sensor but no additional ones. No kit has these pre-welded unless they are for a factory O2. It should only run you $20-$30 to get one welded on though. Just take the turbo inlet pipe that is right before the turbo inlet to a metal shop prior to install and have them drill and weld one on. Thats where mine is going.

Cool yeah I was just thinking it would be a nice added feature Mia, what did you do for an exhaust when you installed yours?

Edit: What I mean is what what modification where needed to the exhaust system?

I already had the Apexi WS2 exhaust which is a y pipe back exhaust so the kit bolted right up to it. Any y pipe back exhaust will bolt directly to the downpipe.

Dynamic6er, any updates on this group buy?

We are close, but it certainly doesn't look like we are going to hit the magic 12 for the discount. Will there be any other discount if we have a smaller number of people still wanting to buy?

I'd really like to know. This money is starting to burn a hole in my pocket.

OK so answers for some questions that were raised:

Turning the boost up to 9 PSI. I talked to Brad today and they have used the same ECU flash for 8 PSI up to 9.5 PSI without issues. At 9.5 PSI they saw AFRs of 11.5:1 from boost to redline and power was well over 409 to the wheels. (Dynapack numbers).

Turbonetics is working on a 550 cc setup and flash to allow for HUGE numbers with the standard turbo. They are also testing with a 62-1 and T66 to see what will fit for some RIDICULOUS numbers. Stay tuned for that.

The way the pricing structure is we can't really make it work very well for anything less then 12. I can keep it going or we can close it down so we don't keep holding people up. I just need you all to let me know. If you're willing to stay in till the twelve then I'll keep it up. I think once some more people post up about their install and experiance then this thing should take off like hotcakes.
