Default 350z - G35 Dyno day in AZ! Pics and videos! My 350z 256hp 251tq

Well guys like the title says, we had a 350z and G35 Dyno day today in Arizona. Was held at Intense Motor Sports, home of the fastest street legal supra in the world.
My next post will have some pics of the event. Couldnt host too many cause i have a feeling the bandwith is gonna be exceeded reallllly fast. So need all i can get.

Here is a good way to tell that the injen with some good test pipes = loudddd :P

Writer for Sport Z was there, and all this was written, pictures taken, my car is gonna be in there as well

But here are the vids, enjoy.

Complete stock 05 G35 Sedan 5AT. Was pushing about 236 i think.

Silver 04 6MT G35. Mods: To my knowledge, CA Intake, Borla Exhaust, Test pipes, Grounding kit, then volk 19" te37s. Was pushn about 246.

Crazy *** stock 04 Touring 6MT 350z. It was performance stock completely, only mod he had were his wheels. He was pushing 255! He had some crazy factory weird 350z that was pushing alot.

http://clandoi.com/cars/Blue350z-Dyno.wmv
Then finally my lightly moded Touring 05 5AT Blue 350z. Mods are, Injen CAI, Injen SES Exhaust, Test Pipes. Was pushing 256hp, 251tq. Not too bad of numbers, i think with a few more miles on my engine i could of got more, i only got 2400 miles .

Then finally had to take a vid of the worlds fastest street legal supra on the dyno right before we went on... this thing was LOUUUD. Oh all the vids were alot louder in person, but you get the general idea of how loud they were .

Thanks for posting the videos and pics. I see you got my best side in that one. After the results today its obvious some people get much better cars than others.

I was the one with the White Z
Hey Nate, what # did Jeremy put down?
I still find my #s hard to believe, maybe the dynojet was busted by that Supra?
Thanks for the pics and Videos Silas (Cloudy)

Is the guy with 20s = PhxBlue?
I saw he said he broke the dyno, and he said he got 260hp and like 230tq.. is it possible the dyno just messed up, cause thats a big gap in tq diff.

It was cool seeing everyone come out and dyno their cars! I ran mine later in the night and had some dismal results with the exhaust I made for it, so I'm probably going to buy something new within the next couple weeks. I was the guy running the dyno btw.

Doubtful. If I remember correctly, the results were higher than normal, but consistent from car to car. It's hard to compare the results exactly because some cars were modified and others weren't. But the 255hp Z compared to the 236hp G35 Sedan (both stock) is about right. Likewise, the 05MY with the Injen parts was just a tad bit higher than the stock 04MY Coupe. I've done a back to back test, stock vs. Injen Exhaust and Intake and there was only a 2-3hp difference (236-->239 IIRC) - about the same as what we had Saturday night.

Thats cool, I had no idea you were on this board. I agree that the results were rather typical when compared to the other cars, but there is one exception. There were 3 03/04 G35 6MT coupes which are all rated at 280 HP. Stock was 243, mine was 251, and Jeremy put down 267. Unless my test pipes/Stillen intake were losing power (the only difference between the cars + wheels), the only other way to explain it is some cars come stronger stock.

sorry to resurface an older thread

I just dynoed there this morning and made 281

i should be able to get it up to 286-287 if i

get normal heat range spark plugs
can get 1-2 bars more fuel in my car
fix my multiple cylinder misfire

i'm happy though, on the east coast with 93 or 94 octane gas i'd probably be around 300ish whp
