I would just lie and claim 300rwhp... or you could assume 15% drivetrain loss and claim 345hp at the crank.

You might get the extra 5 ponies from the crawford headers, but that is a lot of money for 5 hp.

Injen intake might give him an extra horse or two, but that would fall with in the difference between dyno pulls. IMO, get a lot of big fans running on the car, swap out the wheels and tires for some smaller, lighter ones and keep doing runs till you hit 300. Maybe throw a bag of ice on the plenum during the runs.
They may. When you get to this point it all depends on how it's put together. They don't, Nismo doesn't make near the power of Alphawerks/Nexus or Crawfords.

look at how the headers are configured. The alphawerks flow just like the topspeeds, DCs and nismo. There wouldn't be 5 hp difference in any of those headers IMO.

The crawfords on the otherhand flow unlike any of them, thus making more power.

In addition, where are the independent dynos of the alpawerks??? You can't base your arguement on the dyno presented the company.

Where are Crawfords? I've seen a whopping total of three. Compared to 1 that Nexus/Alphawerks has, and 1 more that was never posted (metalz dropped off the face of the earth I guess).

Just curious

how do these headers make anymore power:

than these headers (DC headers):

or these headers (nismo):

or these headers (Topspeed):

The nismos look *slightly* different, but the alpawerks, topspeed, and DC headers look IDENTICAL. only difference I can see is the price.

Ahh, screw it, I had about a paragraph of words and tried to attach pics of the 350EVO headers and it was too large, so I went back and the message was gone. But, i'm tired of sticking up for Alphawerks/Nexus, too hard to convince the non-believers.

Anyway, here's the hosted pic...

You may want to consider those.

I don't think those are available yet. Thought they were still in developement which may be put on hold for 350Evo's new upper and lower plenum (I think that is what I heard).

They look good though.

Witch video? I uploaded one with the Injen SES (the 1st catback I had) and one with the Greddy EVO2 witch is the one I have now.

My total cost with labor couldn't go far beyond $4500. I do my research when buying parts, about the labor, I'll just say I have very good friends

The car feels very strong all through the rpm band. Sometimes if I step on the pedal in 1st gear the car would just light up the tires in smoke all the way into 2nd gear. Until 3rd gear I won’t get any traction and I’m running 295/30 Pirelli Rosso in the rear!
I haven’t gone to the track yet. But I do want to go.

Guys, I don’t see myself going through the trouble of changing headers for 2,3,4 or 5 horses, not to mention the costs. What I would love is to find those 5 whp in something that I don’t have already, or something that won’t mean the aggravation that changing headers brings. The day I take out the headers, they will stay out, because they will be exchanged for a couple of manifolds that will hold a pair of turbos
But, for example, I have the Crawford V1 plenum maybe if I exchange it for the latest, I would get 1 or 2, maybe 3 whp, its not that expensive, its easy to mount and it looks better! Don’t you agree?

Yeah you may want to swap out the V1 for the cast plenum.

I'm trying to think of something that you haven't done to get you more power.

I beg to differ, if I wanted to go through F/I, and NOTHING MORE, I would spend over $7000.
Let’s see:

Greddy TT with InterCooler: $5600
TS Reflash for TT $660
Installation of TT $1500

Total $7760

With that I could achieve maybe 320whp
If I wanted more power:

Greddy EVO2 Catback $1200
Test pipes $220
JWT Cams $1100
JWT Flywheel $350
Average installation of above $2000

Total $4870

You go well over 10k

I spent not more than maybe $4500

HUGE difference
* note that prices include estimated shipping costs
