Well we finally got the stillen engine dampers back in stock yesterday. I picked up one for myself that we had left over after filling all the backorders, and we slapped it on last night before I left. Also, for those that don't know, I have the Tilton full street clutch/flywheel setup.
now I'm pretty sure that anyone with a tilton setup, or lightened flywheel knows that it's pretty easy to hop the clutch from a dead stop, if you don't workt he clutch and gas exactly right. And when you do that, the whole car shudders and shakes. When I put the engine damper on last night, it really cured that problem, (and yes I know the problem is driver related, not part related lol.....). If i accidentally hop the clutch now, you don't feel that shudder and shaking that you used to. The engine damper make s a huge difference, and It really works. It really makes the car drive smoother. It's not going to increase performance really, but it sure makes the car much nicer to drive. Now of course, with a tilton, i'm at the extreme side of the spectrum, and the differences that I feel are going to be more dramatic than what you would feel on a stock setup for example, but will still help out on even a bone stock car.
So for all you who have a lightened drivetrain, you may want to really consider this modification, it really can do wonders.....

i have the stillen engine damper and tilton street clutch too.
My car will still shutter, but I think it's because I also have the 3.9 final drive, JWT cams, and UR pulley.
I'm pretty sure the damper can only help
