Where to get engine block?
I know I seen it mentioned in one of the post but I can't find it. Where did some of you guys get your block after blowing your engine? Turbo Toy or something like that isn't it? Under 700? If anyone can fill me in please. Thanks

we can help you out, we are a dealership and can probably give you the best prices. A new block won't cost $700 though, not with all the things you need.
also beware of used motors, you should really match up the motor/block to the year and production date of your car, and even then, there are different part numbers on the block dependant on vin numbers.

I just got a quote for a new 2004 350 Z block from Hawkinson Nissan (they're in Illinois) of $1300 plus shipping (no tax if outside IL). I've bought other parts from them in the past and they are always less expensive than any other dealer. Call parts mgr. Eric Bottoms at 708-720-2636

So how much is a used block if available? Not any work done on the block just need the block because I have pistons and other parts needed. Thanks!

As I read this and other forums, I save links that others recommend, to a folder in my FAVORITES menu that I named 350Z. I highly recommend doing this.

Prices have been going up for all the desireable parts though...just because of the amount of demand for replacement motors, trannys, differentials, etc. It's getting harder to find a good deal.

Guys....it's not a single site. It is several wreckers. You have to go to the part you selected and then look up the wrecker who is listed beside it. Sometimes their e-mails take awhile. I usually just call them and do the deal on the phone. No problems.
