Default Should you reset the ECU after bolt ons?

Sorry if this sounds stupid but should you reset the ECU after a bolt on to maximize it's effect? I'm thinking by resetting the ECU you'd get the full effect of a bolt on due to the fact that your car will run accordingly to the bolt on you just added...... anyone know??

You can if you want, either way, it will adjust over time, by resetting it will forget the old data and start with the defaults. If your old data already accounted for some mods you might actually have further to go to get to your new optimal trim levels.

So no matter what it will take a some time for it to adjust, by resetting it may just take a little less.

Send your ECU to have it reflashed to get the full potential of your MODS, 600.00 but well worth it.
