I've been researching the "hitting the rev-limit while in automode" issue for 6 months and have talked to
Level Ten-Sammy...sold me a valve body job
Technosquare-Brian
Stillen-??
Altered Atmoshphere...
SGP Kyle Puckett..
I was aware they were building a high, as in 580hp high, auto 350 so I've been checking with him frequently on how it shifts...it has not had the reflash for rev-limit....
He told me the other day that it DOES hit the rev-limiter on the 1-2 shift.

did the reflash help those shifts?
I can't remeber right now but doesn't the 3-4 shift come right before the finish line?

I know level ten is good too, I have used them many times before on my auto cars, I just think that SGP would probably be the best for price reasons and plus they know so much for the Z that they know which companys to go with to make a good tq converter and valve body. I also think they would have better customer service if anything ever went wrong. Level ten seems to be on the expensive side for some reason even through their work is the same as anyone else's. I know people have been having problems with hitting the rev limiter, but thats why their is manual mode.

I went for the Level 10 due to the core change....they sent me out the new valve body pretty quick. They forgot the gasket seal that they told me they would send. The install took about 3 hours. Drain pan, pull down valve body, remove some wiring, reinstall and fill. I think there were about 14 bolts on the valve body that needed to be removed...not difficult, but messy. The kit works very well and I am happy with it. I did have some problems with level 10 though. I sent my valve body back to them and made sure I got a confirmation from UPS, so that I could call and make sure they would credit back my credit card...Asked them for a month...nothing...they would tell me they we going to credit it each week I called...but they didn't. Had to call the credit card company and have the charge reversed...Not sure what was up with that, because it would have been easy to have a happy customer...

im also deciding which one to get but the only one that i havent heard nothing bad about is the SGP VB.
As of now i went last week to the 1/4 mile track it was about 56 to 57 degrees at night. I did first gear burnouts and launched the car at 1500 rpms with pedal all the way down to the floor my shifts were perfect no hitting rev limiter of anykind but now im going to get the valve body torque converter and ranny cooler.

That would be good but not every body is going to go with the same brand but anyways. I want SGP.
What we can do is see how many people are intrested in what brand we talk to whatever shop and then if the r ok the group buy starts.
SGP

Level 10

Ok guys ill call mark today and ask him how many people we need for a group buy and what price keep adding yourself to the list. The more we are the better the price.
BTW put on the side for what mod is it.
