Default Another Quick Stillen Engine Damper Review

Installing the damper was pretty straightforward. The smaller your fingers the easier it will be. I had no fitment problems with brackets either.

The feel of the car is much more firm. My engine showed definite signs of movement before the damper was installed and with it now on visually its substantially less. Keep in mind I have 52k miles on my Z so I would figure its more apparent since I would suspect my engine mounts are more worn especially with the revving I do. For those who concentrate on clutch modulation for the perfect launch the damper provides a more accurate feedback of the car as opposed to having some energy released to the twisting of the engine skewing things. I would venture to say it feels as firm as the first time I drove the car after buying it, my hard driving these past years have taken a toll on the engine mounts. A very very slight vibration occurs at idle in the overall car but gone when in motion.

Performance Nissan for 124 quick shipping. I called to make sure they had in stock before ordering online.

You can also try ordering straight from Stillen. That's where I got mine a long time ago. I believe they happened to be having a sale at the time.
