Default motordyne....

So whos installed the motordyne spacer, or hood spacers?

I bought the hood spacers only, but havent installed them yet. I did something similar on my bike and it was def worth it. Even if theres no extra power, 50 deg. cooler engine bay sounds great to me. after driving the z kinda hard it gets real damn hot in there.

Anyone installed this stuff yet?

functional, okay. aesthetic, hell no. my vented hood vents and looks 100x better. i do, however, run the 1/2" spacer which i really like, and an a/m strutbar.

if i was going aftermarket strut bar i would have gotten the 1/2" spacer no sweat. i like the stock one the best, plus the difference between the 2 plenum spacers doesnt warrant a new bar or hood spacers.

My month of modding is over, and my car is no longer stock at long last!!!

Last 2 weeks I installed:
- Pop Charger
- UR Crank Pulley
- Grounding kit

Just tonight I finished off with the Motordyne 1/4" Plenum spacer... I went with this particular spacer because I wanted to use my stock STB, and the hood spacer looks bad. Install took about 1.5 hours, no sweat. On the way home got to feel the effects:

The Z feels more.. invigorated; stronger response when you get on the accelerator. Like noted in another thread, above 4K the car pulls noticably harder. ALong with the Pop Charger, the car sounds wicked! Can't imagine it with an exhaust!

Over all good money spent on the spacer.. rounds off the first round of effective yet inexpensive mods. This is the way the car should feel, IMO.

no doubt, the stock bar is the best.

Went with the XL 1/2" but no hood spacer needed since it was installed in the FX35 below the old c.plenum. Nice increase in pull esp. above 4K rpm.

I ---LOVE--- my 1/2" manifold spacer. This mod is a no-brainer, folks.
