Send it back.... Right now. I had one, the older version and it rattled, enough that it got really anoying, and things dont annoy me very easly if it adds performance. Anyways B&M sent me a newer model after i complained and i picke dup the car today and it's 10X worse. And trust me, i took it to a nissan dealer so that B&M couldent say it's because it's not professionally done. This thing has cost me over 300 dollars and it's still not right. Bottom line.... IT'S CRAP. Get the Rogue. My buddy has it and it's so much nicer.

I had one.... on my 99 sentra se. Installed it myself, and I know next to nothig about working on cars. Instructions say one hour, took me 5!!! But, It was a great sense of accomplishment anyway. It was great, but the sentra had like a 2 foot long shifter to begin with and you want to talk about distance between gears?? Damn. How much shorter of a shift can we get on the Z?? Isn't it really short already? IF not, I'd be interested in a short shifter because on my sentra it made a BIG difference in the speed of my shifts.

The B&M is fine if installed correctly. The 350 Evo is even better. If you dont want any major rattles go with the Rouge.

check out the post anyone try the 350EVO short shifter yet? I made many comments there. Do yourself a favor if rattles above 4000 rpms bothers you get the rogue from 350evo. I loved the B&M the minor rattles didnt bother me the shifting was definetely way shorter making it easier to win races.

The 350evo shifter, because of the bearing is even faster and smoother than the B&M.
You have to keep the evo bolt just finger tight for smooth shifting but the shifter rattles even more than the B&M.

Like I said if rattles bother you go with the rogue. If not sell the B&M shifter and buy the 350evo; its the fastest shifter. The B&M is the 2nd fastest and the rouge is the 3rd. Stock is 4th. IMO

thanks for your opinions man i appreciate it. i dont want the 350evo because of the "race" characteristic of it i drive my car daily and i feel this would be over kill. i guess ill hang onto the b&m(its the new version) maybe one day throw it in or if not jsut sell it and buy the rogue thanks!!
