OK, I gotta know how much you paid for it. As for the flash, don't even worry about it. Your gonna have to get it reflashed anyways when you get your intake and plenum. Sounds like this car was modded just for you to finish Congrats on your purchase. Only modification I found on my car was 2 scratched windows...

I paid 26,500 out the door. The car was at a dealership in Bedford TX. I had kinda been watching it on autotrader for about 2 weeks and saw the price drop from 30,000 down to 28,000 in that time frame. I finally decided to call the dealership and told them that I would pay 26,000 out the door and that included trading in my 2002 ford ranger. The guy was like not no but hell no. So about a week later he calls me back and asks if I was interested. I said "sure, for 26,00". So he said well man thats just not possible. The on February 28th he called and said hey man its the last day of the month so come on in and lets see what we can do. I said ok but you know my price so dont waste my time. He said just make sure your ranger is clean. I went cleaned it up and left that night for 26,500. I knew it had the nismo suspension but it was getting dark when I walked around and looked under the car so I couldnt see anything else. The next day I put it on a lift which revealed the headers, suspension and sway bars as well as a **** eating grin for about a week afterwards.

I just ordered a crawford plenum and strut tower bar. I would like to try to get 300 hp naturally aspirated but from everything I have read that will probably be pretty hard to do and somewhat expensive. After the crawford plenum Im gonna go with a JWT pop charger, cats, a reflashed ecu, some pulleys and possibly some cams. I would also like to do a clutch and fly wheel but that would probably be further down the road.

don't get pulleys
the stock ones come with a harmonic dampener that heps dampen the vibrations of your engine. If you wan't any long term reliablity out of your z don't get pulleys, it's suicide. I don't know why they make them for Z'z.

well if your interested in power, not sure why u would choose the JWT pop charger over the new injen intake that supposedly puts out 8-17hp on the dyno

This isnt true. The Z32 crowd, VQ maxima crowd and several others have been running them for years with no issues.

If you want any long term reliability out of your Z dont use FI

I wasnt aware that the 8-17hp was proven from the injen intake. I will defenitily be looking into it when the time comes.

Man I cant believe you guys are so positive about finding odd mods on your car. Id be pretty distraught if my ecu had maybe been reflashed maybe not with all those mods i bet the previous owner really ragged out that car. Egh, thats why i buy new sports cars. That thing probably had a rough life so far. 26k was a fair price knowing what its probably been through. People dont buy those kindof mods and then take it easy.

I looked for a very long time before buying this car. Since finding all of these mods on my car I have also had the car to the dealership on two seperate occasions just to make sure that everything has checked out and is in good condition with the car. My motor is very strong and in very good condition and I baby the hell out my Z so really I'm not worried about was previously done to it. However if this was someone elses Z I would be saying the exact same thing as you
