Default Rev Limiter... where about does this get set?

After reading the information about DBW on TC website... I am wondering to know where about is your rev limiter got set.... is it set in the standard ECU as the fuel cut function or it is actually set at the DBW module (as they mentioned that the DBW throttle will start to close at 5500rpm)???

Does anyone know about this?

Oh... and also just double checked with Nizpro who tunes turbo cars down under... their experience tells them that our DBW throttle starts to close at 6500rpm.... and that makes me think it might really be the case since the auto 350z can be push up to 7000rpm (where the throttle might be completely closed then?!)...

cheers,

richie

Chebosto:

Thanks for the information! Further question... so other than the fuel cut setting, do you know what else was involved when they carried out the re-flash? Did they need to adjust the DBW throttle profile to accommodate the changed of the fuel cut?

Appreciate that mate!

cheers,

richie
