I just purchased this shifter from 350evo. Actually I ordered it by mistake, as I was trying to order the Rouge. But...since i had it in hand I figured, what the hell, and installed it. Apparently, I didn't get the correct bearing. Without tightening the bolt everyone is talking about, I get nice smooth shifts, but all kinds of rattles, and with the bolt tightened, it's stiff as crap.

The bearing/spacer I recieved contained no ball bearings. It was the bearing that go on each side and a spacer in the middle. I really don't see how this can work correctly without a ball bearing. I called today to request some info, I either need a new bearing, or a fix of some sort...or it needs to be returned. There was no answer on the phone, so I'll try again later.
